We provide the rods, reels, terminal tackle, baits and knowledge. All you need is a pack lunch in water proof container, something to drink (no booze please), and clothing appropriate for the time of year. Keep in mind we go rain or shine or snow. The minimum we will be gone is 6 - 8 hours. We also do corporate outings and partner with outfitters if we need more than one boat or drifter for a day. A fishing license for the day or year, resident or non resident, is your responsibility. There are 2 primary types of licensing, with or without trout. Salmon and Steelhead are considered trout species here, so there is an inland license for bass, walleyes and panfish and an all species for trout plus inland. Please use our link to the DNR E-license to pay for your license in advance. Allow enough time get this accomplished, I will ask you if have the appropriate fishing license on hand. If you are not licensed, I get a ticket also.
The youngest recommended age is old enough to be around adults, must listen and accept instruction from a stranger. That would be me, Dad, little league coach, grandpa and occasionally a Santa for the right people. Usually, 8-10 years of age and well behaved. We can shorten a trip or make special arrangements for youth to learn. We also do fly fishing basics on casting, presentation, stream etiquette and some bug knowledge. For advanced wisdom see our recommended web site.
